This cancer information resource is intended for the United States Associated Pacific Island Nations. It focuses primarily on the cancer most prevalent in the Pacific and is kept text based to allow fast access with a telephone modem. Scientific and medical knowledge about cancer and treatment options increases every year. Links to constantly updated websites are included with each description and visitors are encouraged to explore these on their own.

Major Cancer information is divided in four segments (links located on top of each page):

CANCER HOME:
Offers information about a specific cancer for the general public with links and recommendations for in-depth research that is cancer specific.

FOR PRACTITIONERS:
offers medical and treatment information such as treatment guidelines for medical professionals and use a more scientific language.

FOR PROGRAM MANAGERS:
These web pages offer resources and information for professionals and interested individuals working in cancer prevention to facilitate the implementation of programs or activities in your country.

COMMUNITY:
Provides information to wider Pacific community and included links to support groups and issues facing people with cancer and their loved ones.

Palliative Care and its importance for cancer treatment as a psycho-social and a medical service are an integral part of the continuum of care and not specific to any for of cancer.
